Melanie Galaviz
Snapology's mission is to inspire children of all learning types to pursue their interests in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math through educational play and hands-on learning from a young age.

Melanie started Snapology of Grapevine in 2019 after realizing there were no accessible LEGO® and STEM-based programs that combined experienced teachers, real engagement with STEAM concepts, and genuine fun — the ingredients kids need to spark curiosity and build a lasting foundation for learning.

BrainSTEAM is a new organization on a mission to make AI fluency accessible and safe for teens, parents, and adults alike.
Founded by four parents who are experts in their fields, our team teaches a proprietary, real-time curriculum built on safety, ethics, and critical thinking.
Through hands-on classes, students, parents, and educators learn how AI agents actually work and how to design, direct, and use them responsibly — building a personal knowledge base that can be passed down for generations.

Hands-on play builds real skills

"Block play builds the spatial language that predicts later math skills, storytelling predicts reading comprehension better than early phonics instruction, and number sense develops at the ice cream counter long before it develops on a worksheet."
Project-based learning expresses knowledge
"Technology helps students not only demonstrate what they've learned but also develop crucial skills along the way, such as collaboration, digital fluency, communication, and self-direction."
AI adds to, not away from learning
"A lot of the worries and concerns we have are mostly based on replacement... But what I see is addition, and what AI could add to students' everyday learning landscape."
