Program Description

In Snapology's Animation Studio, students step behind the camera to write, build, and film their own LEGO® stop-motion movies with a festive holiday twist! Using LEGO bricks, minifigures, and animation software, students bring holiday scenes, characters, and stories to life frame by frame. Students will: -Flex Their Creativity & Storytelling writing original holiday-themed scripts and building sets, characters, and props to match. -Explore Animation & Technology learning the stop-motion process—from storyboarding to frame-by-frame filming and editing. -Build Confidence Through Sharing screening their finished films for classmates in a fun, low-pressure setting. -Strengthen Engineering & Design Skills building stable, camera-ready LEGO® sets and characters. -Practice Collaboration & Communication working with peers on scripts, sets, and film crews. Whether directing a holiday adventure or a stop-motion snow battle, your child will leave this workshop with a finished film and newfound filmmaking skills! 📅 Each workshop has new builds & activities.
