Program Description

Does your little learner love to tinker, build, and create? Welcome to Snapology’s Junior Engineers! In this hands-on, play-based class, young builders will use LEGO® DUPLO® bricks to design and construct fun, functional models like elevators, amusement park rides, robotic dogs, spinning tops, and more. As students build and experiment, they’ll begin to explore how simple machines work—turning curiosity into meaningful early engineering learning. Designed especially for young learners, this program introduces foundational science and engineering concepts through guided discovery and collaboration. As students test their ideas, solve challenges, and work alongside peers, they’ll learn that teamwork and communication are essential parts of engineering and design. Students will: ⚙️ Explore early science and engineering concepts like balance, motion, energy, and force 🧱 Build simple machines using gears, wheels, axles, and pulleys 🧠 Practice problem-solving through experimentation and prediction 🤝 Develop teamwork and partner skills through group builds and shared materials 🗣 Build confidence by explaining how their creations work Junior Engineers is a playful introduction to STEM—where creativity, collaboration, and curiosity come together to help young learners grow into confident problem-solvers.
