Program Description

KinderBots Series 2: Coding Creators In this second session of Snapology’s KinderBots program, students will take their learning to the next level as they begin to program their builds! Perfect for both returning students and first-time participants, this class focuses on early coding concepts using a fun, visual drag-and-drop platform designed for young learners. Each week, students will create a new robotic model and bring it to life with simple code. Whether it’s programming a wand to light up, a robot dog to bark, or a spinning top to dance, kids will build confidence as they explore sensors, loops, and motion-based triggers. Students will: 💻 Learn Early Programming Skills: Use a beginner-friendly coding language to animate and control robotic creations. 🎯 Use Sensors & Triggers: Experiment with motion and tilt sensors to make their robots react to their surroundings. 🌀 Add Sound, Lights & Movement: Customize builds with sounds, lights, and actions to see their code in action. 🤝 Collaborate on Challenges: Continue building teamwork skills through fun partner builds and playful problem-solving. This session is a great fit for students who enjoy storytelling, logic puzzles, and seeing their creations come to life. No experience from Series 1 is necessary—just bring your imagination!
