Program Description

In Snapology’s Mega Machines Robotics program, young engineers will build and program powerful robotic machines while exploring real-world mechanical and coding concepts in a hands-on, imaginative way. Using LEGO® robotics kits, students will dive into exciting builds like garbage trucks, space rovers, and helicopters—learning how motors, gears, and sensors bring machines to life. As they create and code each model, kids will explore how mechanical components work together to create motion, speed, and function. From building and testing to reprogramming and improving, students will be fully immersed in the engineering design process and inspired to think like inventors. 💥 Each day has new builds & activities. Students will: ⚙️ Explore Simple Machines: Understand how pulleys, levers, cranks, and gears function by designing robotic models that mimic machines in everyday life. 🔌 Learn Coding Basics: Use an easy drag-and-drop programming language to bring builds to life, adjust responses to sensors, and add fun elements like sounds and movement loops. 🚗 Engineer Motorized Machines: Discover how gears and motors affect speed and power while experimenting with builds like trucks, helicopters, and other mega machines. 🤝 Practice Collaboration: Work in pairs or small teams to share materials, plan solutions, and develop strong teamwork and communication skills.
