In Snapology’s Wonderful Wizards Animation Studio camp, young filmmakers will step into the magical world of Hogwarts as they create their very own stop motion movie starring LEGO® wizards, witches, and magical creatures. Students will work in pairs to plan, design, and animate their stories—combining creativity with real technology skills as they bring enchanted scenes to life frame by frame. They'll build custom sets, develop original plots, and use intuitive stop motion software to film and edit their masterpieces. Perfect for Harry Potter™ fans and budding storytellers alike, this immersive class blends magic with media arts in a way that sparks imagination and builds lasting skills. 💥 Each day has new scene & skill building. Students will: 🎬 Learn Animation Techniques: Explore how stop motion works by animating their own scenes using LEGO® mini-figures, magical props, and creative movement. 🪄 Develop Storylines: Write original stories inspired by the world of Harry Potter™—complete with spell-casting, potions class, Quidditch, and more. 🎧 Edit Like a Pro: Add voiceovers, music, sound effects, and transitions using beginner-friendly animation software to polish their films for sharing. 🤝 Collaborate and Create: Work in small teams to storyboard, problem-solve, and complete a project together—building both communication and confidence. Students’ final films will be uploaded for families to enjoy and share.
